How many of us try to eat the right foods? As a matter of fact, how many of us even know what the right foods are? How many of us even know there are “right times” to eat certain foods!? Wow!
Life for a man is all about “Who’s the Strongest?”! There must be some type of psychological make up in males that drives him to always display some kind of show of strength. In a young mans daily life, in most situations, that is where his mind is. It is seen in little boys who try to be the one everybody else follows on the playground. It is seen in teenagers who are rebellious to parents and other authorities. It is manifested in men who are trying to find there way through life trying to out drink each other, or having the biggest rims, or the most women. It seems to be something that men have to grow out of. It seems like God eventually says, Ok, thats enough! Let me show you, “who’s the strongest!” When this happens, God breaks us down so that all we have is him! (a good thing by the way) After that, we understand that we dont have to be in charge or the boss or event to try to fix everything and “just let God, be God…”
First thing we have to do as men of God is to make sure we know where we are. No matter where that is…we still need to know where our starting point is.
